This website is run by the Naturtöne association. Naturtöne was founded on April 19, 2025 and aims to promote music, further development and exchange around the alphorn, büchel and other natural horns. The association organizes concerts and events of various kinds and supports research and compositions(here the statutes of the association).
With the naturtoene.ch platform, the association further contributes to the promotion of networking and exchange across language, national and stylistic borders. Although the focus is on the alphorn, its interest extends to the universe of natural horns and just intonation. Customs and traditions can be part of the practice, but naturtoene.ch is all about the music.
The Naturtöne association is backed by numerous well-known exponents* of the alphorn scene. Naturtoene.ch therefore sees itself as a broad-based platform for all those interested in alphorn, büchel and other natural horns.
