The event ALPHORN 555 shall make history and we alphorn players will be the main actors! "The world record in alphorn blowing with a (very large) large formation belongs to Central Switzerland," Heinz Rutishauser, the head of Bergbahnen Beckenried-Emmetten AG, said to me with a grin a few weeks ago. The people of Nidwalden want to set the world record with at least 555 alphorn blowers on August 31, 2024 on the beautiful Klewenalp. The Federal Association of Yodelers and |
