  • 71st Annual Ohio Swiss Festival

    Every fall since 1953, downtown Sugarcreek, Ohio transforms into a lively Swiss village, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Switzerland. From wine and cheese samplings to races, contests, and parades, the Swiss Festival offers something for everyone. Sponsored by the Ohio Swiss Cheese Association, Sugarcreek Business Association, and the Village of Sugarcreek, this year's festival takes place September 28th - 30th. There’s music, food, and entertainment each day of the festival, and parking can be found invarious locations downtown.

  • 2nd International Alphorn Meeting in the Netherlands

    At this meeting, we practise a lot and cover new things. At the end of the day, we organize a concert in the city center with all the participants. We introduce the instrument to the audience and explain what it is used for, how it is built and how it is played. Many people know nothing about the alphorn.   • 7° Festival Corni Delle Alpe Della Svizzera Italiana

    The "Corni dal Generus", in collaboration with the group "Nüm dal Corno", organize the Alphorn Festival in the picturesque surroundings of Castelgrande in Bellinzona. The festival also includes a competition in which horn players can perform individually or in groups in front of a jury. The aim is to unite the whole of Switzerland in this field and to strengthen the spirit of friendship between all horn players and fans of this instrument north and south of the Alps.

  • Rencontre Internationale de Cor des Alpes – Munster Valley

    Program Saturday September 13: Activities at various farm inns in the Valley and at the Maison du Fromage in Gunsbach. Sunday, September 14: Activities in the various villages of the Valley and participation in certain services in the Valley's churches. 4pm: Final concert with the local alphorn groups in Stosswihr.
