Ossingen - Wetter Instrumente Steinerstr. 27, OssingenThe alphorn, which is over three meters long, is milled and turned with the help of CNC milling machines and semi-mechanical special machines and then assembled by hand into a fully functional instrument. The alphorn is in three parts, its basic pitch in F sharp/G flat. The course begins with an individual preparation day by arrangement and continues with six course days in the course workshop in Ossingen.

Unesco Biosphäre Entlebuch SörenbergAs an advanced alphorn player, during a course weekend you will expand your alphorn skills, improve your blowing technique and accuracy and devote yourself to playing in a group. Requirements: Advanced alphorn players. The alphorn is played in G flat / F sharp. Aims/content: Participants apply their knowledge of the alphorn, improve their blowing technique and accuracy, focus on music theory and playing in a group.
