Ossingen - Wetter Instrumente Steinerstr. 27, OssingenThe alphorn, which is over three meters long, is milled and turned with the help of CNC milling machines and semi-mechanical special machines and then assembled by hand into a fully functional instrument. The alphorn is in three parts, its basic pitch in F sharp/G flat. The course begins with an individual preparation day by arrangement and continues with six course days in the course workshop in Ossingen.

Nendaz NendazThe Nendaz International Alphorn Festival is a gathering of players, an official competition, a grand traditional procession, concerts, folk group productions, two country balls and ensemble pieces (with over 150 players). In short: a festival dedicated to folklore.
Midwest Alphorn Retreat
Lowell (MI, USA) - Franciscan Life Process Center 11650 Downes St NE, LowellThe 2024 Midwest Alphorn Retreat will begin at 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 24th at the Franciscan Life Process Center in Lowell, MI (15 miles east of the Grand Rapids Airport). We conclude after brunch on Sunday, July 28th. All meals, housing, group and private lessons, and all retreat activities and materials are included in your fee. Bring your spouse! There are 22 on-campus sleeping spaces available on a first come first served basis. Once housing is filled there are many hotels
